Okay let me do it again.

    Q: Any New Year wish?
YM: My wish is to get into the playoffs.

Q: Look back for the last year, any feelings?
YM: Up and down. Many memorable things, they are all special.

Q: Any plan on the New Year Eve?
YM: Win the game (T-Wolves) today and go home for dinner.

Q: Do you miss the New Year atmosphere in China? Will it affect you?
YM: No special effect. I heard some firework sound when I talked to a friend by phone, I could feel some atmosphere.

    Q: About red pocket.
YM: That's for kids. I am now having a job, no special feeling.

Q: About the feel for the NBA.
YM: I now know that NBA is real fierce and harsh. I didn't know that.

Q: About the difference between CBA and NBA.
YM: It's totally different no matter the atmosphere and environment. But you know CBA only had 8 years history.

Q: There seemed to be a slump after the Lakers game, what's your and your whole team's feeling?
YM: Like back to the earth. Difficult to describe.

    Q: Commnets about your commercials.
YM: I hope people accept them.

Q: How do you see your marketing value?
YM: It's for my agent. I just want to play ball.

Q: About the feeling of shooting commercials.
YM: Of course you can act naturally 1 out 10 times.

    Q: About his 7 foot 5 height.
YM: Bowl, car, clothes, not easy to buy.

Q: You seem to settle down and has bought a car. What do you want to do next?
YM: Buy insurance or get nothing if the car is crashed.

Q: Anything to say to many youngsters in China who see you as their idol?
YM: Don't put your goal too far otherwise you will always feel tired. Enjoy every thing every minute .

Hmm.. it looks very normal in the Chinese interview. I guess the word-by-word translation lacks all the hidden meanings and emotions.

the humour in that one isn't lost in the translation. does it say what car he bought (does anyone know)? did he get a custom hummer?
