yao does need to wear these pads, period. i don't care if they are size a or d. it may take a while to adjust a bit on the court, but they are necessarily. i think keith should make it a mandate.
hope Yao can get some rest since he's been playing at his full capacity this season...and most importantly, we donot want to see no yao in playoffs...
Well I can't say I wasn't, because I was worried about Yao. You are always worried when player goes down. It looks like it is only a bump. Hopefully some rest will fix it, hopefully he is really ok. We need you Yao, especially with McGrady commin back tomorrow or on Monday.
Yao told chinese media that he was hurt in the begining of the game when he collided with Foster. The collision between him and Battier worsened the situation
I'm down with this.....and shoulder pads, thigh pads, leg braces, steel toed shoes....oh heck, let's go with full body armor.
I have been following the NBA since I was a small child. Injuries are part of the game, BUT I don't ever remember a team more consistently injured than the Houston Rockets. The Bad Boy Pistons, nope. The Showtime Lakers, nope. The forever champion Boston Celtics, nope. Maybe that is why they were champions. But even the lesser teams, I can't remember anything comparable to the CrutchFans Rockets. This team has been hobbling since TMac and Yao arrived, but it affects every one on the team. Even when players come for the first time, like Artest, Barry, and Dorsey. I am surprised that Morey and Alexander haven't been hit by "space junk." This is way beyond statistical probablity.
