Anyone care to translate it into English? My Chinese is not that good.

But the interesting thing is that Yao's father did not mention anything about Yao being tired. He said that their strategy was for Yao to play 1-15 minutes his first season to adapt to the NBA, and try to be a starter from the 2rd season. Father believes that strength training and weight lifting in the summer will help him greatly next season.

The Yaos are very happy about Yao going to Houston mainly because the team really needs a center. The father also believes that Yao will face lots of difficulties in the near future and hope that Yao can be ready for that. And because Yao's NBA trip has been too smooth so far, the father thinks that he needs to remind Yao not to be cocky and bring him back to earth. He is coming back to America again and will join his wife to be Yao's helper.

I think you already translated 95% of this article... I just see no need to translate the rest :)
Translation may not be good. My Eng is absolutely not professional. But I hope it can hope your guys to understand the interview..

Yao's father said :"Don't regard Yao as a supernatural being. He is just a normal person. He had good luck and this is the my comment even until now."

"He has good luck because Rox needs center. The Rox used to depend on the perimeter shooter. Rox's need for a center enabled Yao to become to No.1 pick."

"From the technique point of view, Yao Ming is Ok. He has a good feeling on shooting. If he can be physically strongger, he will be a better player. Yao is not a strong player in his size. But he is smart, he will drive to the defense wall under the basket. He will try some other ways and he has godd adaptability."

"Rox needs a center and Yao caught the opportunity. It is a good cycle. Otherwise, there would have been a vicous cycle, if the team dare not to use him like this, and he has a bad adaptability. Yao had a good luck and a good mental adaptation. After the first several unfavoring performance, he thought a lot and figured out the problem. I am happy that he went though the bad time."

"By my initial estimate, he would at least need two seasons to adapt himself to NBA. We planned that he played for 10-15 mins in the first season. And keep improving his physical conditions. Hopefully, he can gradually accomplish the transition from a substitutors to be a regular player in the second season. We never imagined he can become the regular C after 60 days. However, even taking account into these advantages, he still lots of disadvantages. He is expected to encounter some crucial difficulties shortly."

"Before Yao, there have been two Chinese players playing in NBA, namely, Wang Zhizhi and Bateer. Since they failed to become the regular players, other players in NBA probably look down on the Bball abilities of Chinese players. In Yao's first several games, he even scored 0 point in same games. Under such circumstances, how can the NBA players pay attention to Yao and make some research on him? Correspondingly, Yao Ming made some inspiring performance in some following games. However, I believe that, later, difficulties will come to Yao successively. He will have a lot to suffer."

"We didn't teach him a lot in his childhood. Nothing special. Actually we only taught him Bball. Even in the Bball teaching, what we told him the most is that, he must be a good guy before he can play good basketball. He was a clever kid with fast reaction, but he is not a whiz kid. He didn't have the highest grade in his class and he was just as naughty as other kids. But he liked reading. He read some ancient books when he was young. He had many interests, changing over his childhood period. He was particularly interested in guns when he was a baby. Then he was in love with reading, especially the geographic books."

"After some years, he developped his interest on archeology, probably derived from his reading of geographic books. His later interest was aeromodelling. He used his first salary from the Basketball Team to buy an aeromodel. Recently, I think his favorite is to play games. I remembered, he loved to played with the adults when he was a kid. And his friends all have better manner and personality than he do. I think this may be another reason why he can easily learn new things."

Yao's father gonna fly to America in next week and help Yao with Yao's mom. He seems very interested in this job, "Everything is going a bit too favorably with Yao. I need to give him some practises and personal tuitions." On contrary to content of Yao's father speaking, the interviewing reporter feels a piece of proudness from his tone.

Sorry... made lots of mistakes in grammar and spelling... and I found that I cannot edit my post. Anyway, I made some revision in the following text.

What's wrong with Yao's left foot? Why did he have to soak it in ice after the game with the Hawks?
