With the cloudy situation regarding Yao and the Rockets, there has been speculation of how Steve has felt about the pick of Yao Ming. Everyone has had their chance to bash and defend both of them. Some people are saying Ming won't amount to anything. Others are calling Steve out for not supporting the pick of Ming. Truth of the matter is that they will be teammates and no one said you have to be the best of friends to produce on the court. Just asked Shaq and Kobe. When Yao Ming comes, there will be no one supporting him more on this team than Steve. Like Kobe and Shaq, they will both learn how the other helps their game. Steve right now maybe acting like the only child who has learned another baby is on the way. But when this one comes, like all big brothers, Steve is going to make sure that no one messes with him and that he helps him become the best player he can be.
