I agree. I was just pointing out that the comparison between DH and a healthy Yao is at least a legitimate one.
Nope, it's not Yao's fault he gets injured frequently. That is all thanks to his 7'6" frame. I am glad we have the more complete center instead of one who can only shoot within 5 feet.
and pretty sure the magic are glad they have a center who is leading the league in rebounding and blocks who inst easily taken out of the games by fronting and who cant out rebound Mehmet Okur
I'll take the guy who can consistently average 20 and 10 when he is being doubled and fronted every second of the game. I'll also take the guy who can dominate LA in the only game of the playoffs that he was healthy and not the guy who couldn't even get over 25 points in the 5 game series against LA in the finals.
He still lost and if you ain't first your last. The question was if Yao comes back to his old form who do you think is better and I think its Yao. Sorry if you have a problem with that.
Who is this magical center you speak of? Haven't seen any in a Rockets uniform lately. Seriously dude, puff puff pass.
he still has accomplished more than yao has ever accomplished. you're the one who quoted me, im just responding t the person who quoted me. sorry if you have a problem with dwight accomplishing more than yao has ever did. sorry if most of the world would prefer dwight over yao. sorry if dwight is getting awards in things yao never got even when he was healthy sorry that dwight continues to be successful while yao sits in a boot cheer his shanghai team. sorry.
28 and 10 in the first game against the Lakers? Sorry if that doesn't ring a bell, seriously dude you don't have to agree with me.
When you say bias homers, you really mean Rockets fans who know the truth right? Dwight Howard is a great player but to say he is better than a healthy Yao Ming, I just don't see it.
Yes, we get it. Yao has been injured and unable to play. No one is going to debate with you that a player who plays is better than a player who has sat out for a full season. So I don't get why you keep bringing up that argument. In regards to Yao vs Dwight when both healthy and playing on the court, Yao was definitely the better candidate before his season ending surgery. The question is if Dwight has improved his game enough to surpass Yao during this season. Dwight has accomplished more than Yao in terms of playoff success but I don't think accomplishments necessarily make you better than someone. Robert Horry imo is not better than Karl Malone nor a Dirk Nowitzki.
I could say the same about you with Dwight. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree, no need to get into arguments with fellow Rockets fans. We need to save that energy for Lakers and Jazz fans.
This is too dumb to even argue, but I'll oblige. Superman averaged 21 and 13 while shooting 80% from the field in the second round. 57, 48, 55, 77, 0. I'll let you guess what the above numbers represent. A healthy Yao Ming has not existed for five years, does not exist and will never exist.
i dont love dwight. i actually have a yao ming jersey but and i want yao to come back strong next year and prove me wrong but i'm just someone who has been disappointed from him in the past. but i guess we can agree to disagree.
Yeah, you win dawg. An injured Yao Ming is trash. Jared Jefferies who actually played games this season is even better than Yao who played 0 games. Now can you just let the rest of the forum debate what the OP had originally posted?
