Yao vs Battier

    When a 300 pounder is coming at you full on out--you get out of the way. Simple. I guess he will learn this when he takes a charge and breaks a bone or two.

    Show respect by getting out of the way--yes. Your team is up by 100 pts and a runaway freight train is coming that is your future team mate....get out of the way.

    I beg to differ. Though I was p@ssed that this fantastic coast-to-coast of Yao Ming was ruined by Shane Battier, I respected Battier for his heart, passion and never-say-die spirit, which is something sorely missing in Yao Ming's team mates.

    By letting Yao Ming go all the way to the basket is not the way to show "respect" to his future Lao Da, and I don't think Yao Ming will like that kind of "respect".
