    YAO&STEVE

Yao Ming needs to know who he is... Im saying getting outplayed by Brad Miller, Eric Dampier, and Jerome James is unbelievable. He sometimes seems to get out bullied by those centers. Ming is 7'5 or 7'6 he should be dominating those little guys he is not showing me anything special this year his numbers should be higher than what they are and please dont say he isnt getting the ball because he is.. He isnt making his shots , and it gets frusrtaing watching him go for rebounds by tapping them out COME ON YAO YOUR THE TALLEST MAN IN THE NBA GRAB THE FRIGGIN REBOUND... then he falls down flopping everywhere... Now dont get me wrong I love Yao as a player Im just saying he needs to get a lil cocky he needs to let the Nba know he is the 2nd best center in the leauge..

Steve Francis- okay it really doesnt matter what he does people on this board will still critsize him Steve can put up 35pts 8rbs 10asst and people will still say bad things about him... I dont care HE IS STILL THE BEST PLAYER ON THIS TEAM.. sometimes he is forced to do it all FRANCIS has to get the FRiggin REBounds so that prob. takes all his energy and he have two 7footers out there playing volleyball.. I know Steve dribbles to much but thats what you get out of Steve when the other players are missing wide open shots or layups that makes Steve feel he cant trust them so he tries to take it himself to much.... But the way he is hated on the site NOW I KNOW WHY THEY CALL HIM THE FRANCHISE he cant win for losing.... YAO gets no BLAME thats why he isnt the franchise... when the bulls lost MJ got the blame and that goes for everyother franchise player..;)

Yao Ming did not guard Brad Miller, Cato did... and Eric Damipier and Jerome James did not outplay him... did you watch the game or checked the stats?

Please find me a game when Steve have put up 35pts 8rbs 10asst this year and posters were critizing him? No? Can't find one? It's because he hasn't done it this season, and I doubt posters would critizing him if he puts up this kind of stat.

And talking about getting out played, Steve would be on the receiving end a lot more. Not saying Yao is without fault, because he gets his balls stripped away too easily at times, and he still needs to stamp his authority on the game more.

    -G'day-

BigRay = what a dumb dumb kid....please go back in time and review the games again.

Francis is dumb. Yao is not aggressive. Nobody's perfect, but Yao has alot to improve while Francis cant. He's STUPID, you cant teach IQ period. If however, Francis LISTENS to Van Gundy, which he is not doing it right now, then it's all good :)

Before you go dismissing Yao's deficiencies, you may want to ask yourself, what's more difficult : running an offense or dunking the damn ball when you're 2 feet away and 7'6"? Apparently, as you stated, you can't teach IQ, but teaching the big fella how to dunk a ball when in traffic isn't so easy either.

Yeah and it doesn't help when two guys are holding and grabbing and scratching Yao's arm and the referees don't do anything! :D

When Yao tries doing that to other people..it is too obvious and conspicuous...sucks.

Yao and Taylor for Lewis and James and one of their good guards!

If on this Road Trip if the Refs had called half of the fouls made by players guarding Yao Ming. We would have won all the Games.Just another way of looking at it.

The Rockets averages 25 free throws per game on the road trip, four better than their average for the year and good enough for 10th in the league. We went to the line FOURTY TIMES versus Seattle and still lost.

2 feet away from the basket is STILL 2 feet too far away for Yao to dunk. Unless Yao is directly under the basket, he simply does not have the jumping ability to make it that far. He only gets off the ground a couple of inches. On 2 occassions last night, Yao attempted to dunk the ball with authority, on both occassions, he barely made it to the front of the rim and fell flat on his behind.

Perhaps what the Rox need is a tranfusion of some of Yao's caution to Francis and some of Francis' spleen to Yao.

It's funny you say that. I was just saying today I wish they had a machine that could give some of Francis' swagger and agressiveness to Yao and some of Yao's basketball intellegence to Francis. :D

If the Rox want to give me a big fat research grant I'll get started on building that machine. In the meantime I'm still working on cloning Mario Elie. ;)

Yao may be soft, but one thing is for sure, Steve doesn't make things any easier for everybody else. He may be able to make some tough shots sometimes, but it brings down the whole team.
