I've noticed Yao voicing instructions to teammates more often in the last month or so. Most of time it's towards Griffin... telling him where to go. On a few occasions, I"ve seen Yao 'push' Griffin towards an open/unguarded opponent when the Rox are defending.

I wonder if Yao is starting to be more assertive, but only to players younger than him in deference to the older guys... or is EG frequently making bad reads in defense that Yao has to pass the on-court pointers.

Love Griff's talent, but he's so inconsistent. Mo Taylor should be starting at the rate he's playing lately.

He's just sharing his good sense of court awareness with his little brother Eddie :)

Yeah Chinese culture emphasis respecting the seniors. That only explained why Yao could only voice towards EG right now. When he can do that to all players, he will become our leader.

well...he is showing improvement. I saw him yell at a ref in the last game...and then complain to him about being fouled. He got the call.
