    i'm just wondering why the answer 'yao ming' wins every single poll on this board. i mean, he won the vote for most clutch player in rockets history. he hasnt even hit a game winning buzzer shot yet.

    alot of the fans are Ming fans.
    I bet you can put a poll asking who looks more Black, Yao Ming or Steve and Yao Ming would win by a landslide

    interesting thread. i think its beacuse hes unique. his height, his bball skills and iq, his classic performances inside and outside the court, ... all in all he brings something we havent seen in the league and its so fresh and uplifting.

    no, i think fans are happy with yao's performance because nobody expected this much this soon. by exceeding all people's expectations, people will naturally give him some credit.

    Well, next year LeBron James will win probably the most hyped rookie in the history of the NBA -- even more so than Yao.


    The guys from PTI said they can almost bet James will get voted TO START on the All-Star team even though he more than likely won't even deserve to be on the team. *lol*
