When watching that video you can only get pumped up. If only Yao was dunking like that more and more....i think he is slowly getting the hang of it becuase in all the games he is going a bit strong to the hole and looking for the dunk.

They foul him a lot on the dunks but it's good to see him go up strong.

Also i have to say no matter how many times i see the dunk he did and started yelling, i just can't get tired of it.

good editing and timing job there. It's also nice to see a yao video that doesn't try to force chinese music with twanging chinese instruments and beijing opera in the background (cough espn cough).

To make it clearer, you can encode with the highest possible bit rate. Unfortunately, the file sizes get much bigger as well.

well this would also depend on where he is getting the video. If he is usuing video that was already bad then theres really nothing he can do with it to make it better i guess.

Yep, you're right. The video keeps degrading each time it gets re-encoded, so there's not much that can be done if it's already grainy to begin with.

Same clip, re-upped: Yao Ming Video

Click on that link only after previous links don't work.
If you download from that link, go to www.yousendit.com and re-upload it to keep it alive

BTW, I am not hosting any more Yao Ming videos until I block China/Asia from my webserver. I uploaded the Yao Ming clips from the last game over 10,000 times. I ate 33 GB of bandwidth. Maybe 1 GB was from clutchfans, and I can totally deal with that. But, someone took the links and posted them at hoopschina.com and sina.com and I was getting killed. The server held up fine, but I'm not going to chance it again. It's a DAMNED good thing that I don't have any bandwidth limitations because I would've been in a really tight spot if they charged me by the GB.

I'll try to host more stuff soon, including this video, but I don't have time to mess with it for a few days.

maybe you could start charging people for each download. charge them 50cents per download. you'd be rich by the end of the season.

    $.50 x 10,000 = 5,000 dollars

    $5,000 x 82 games yearly = $410,000

Thats not including playoff games. You could easily make over $500,000 in a year.

    You could use PayPal.

    Yeah, I'm sure that wouldn't attract the NBA's attention . . . or their lawyers' attention . . .

Nice idea though. You're thinking of ways to get me money and I like that. :)
