Anyone who hasn't noticed how the Yao Ming song juices the crowd and the Rockets as a team isn't what I would call observant. So, when Steve does something special, why not sing "Stev-ie, Stev-ie, Stev-ie, Stev-ie" etc. in the same way. When Eddie does something special, why not sing -- well, you can guess the rest. Same for Moochie and Mo-Tee. Cat is the only hard one, but I have faith in Chance to remedy that.

The stadium will rock, the players will be juiced and it will drive Atlanta players crazy. How about giving the Rockets a boost?

That's a good idea ! . I was @ the game (vs Indiana), people keep chanting Yao Ming Yao Ming Yao Ming....during the game and after the game...from the ticket booth to the parking lot. I thought that was very cool, great way to show our supports.
We should do that to Steve, Cat, Eddie....too.
Here you go Chance, your next project! (keep up the good work buddy!) thanks

Remember when the Atlanta Braves had the tomahak chop and chant? That annoyed the heck out of the opponents and even me watching it on TV. We should do something like that with the Yao Ming song. :p

Where were you sitting vtkp99? We had a group of 6 rowdy college students singing all the time, and when we moved to better seats in the second half, we got a few people to join us (I taped the ESPN broadcast and you can hear us!) and made some noise. We did adopt the Yao Ming song to include other players, but it was a work in progress.

"Mo-bley, Mo-bley, Mo-bley, Mo-bley." I think this is an awesome idea! Would be great for team-y-ness and also not seprating Ming from the rest!

Okay, if you guys keep up the singing, perhaps we can get Rezdawg, Calvin Murphy and the Rockets booth announcer to help Chance transform the Yao Ming song into the Rocket song with 12 verses.

    How about:

    Rud-y, Rud-y, Rud-y, Rud-y, Rud-y, Rud-y

Stop Playing Moo-chie, Stop Playing Moo-chie

No, sometimes Mooch does deserve praise. However, you make an important point. After each home win, we sing the Rud-y, Rud-y, Rud-y verse!

Drat, I pushed the send button too quickly. Before each game, we could sing a blend of C.D, C.D., C.D., Les-A, Les-A, Les-A verse just to show our appreciation for their hard work.

It won't work because the accent on those names is on the first syllable. The accent has to be on the last syllable. Otherwise it sounds like crap. Ru-DEE? HUH? Lame. It works with Juaqin though. juaQUIN, JuaQUIN, JuaQUIN, JuaQUIN! See?

LOL... that would really make the place rockin' fun! You probably have to hand out pot-filled fortune cookies before we get there tough [note to Rockets marketing department].
