has anyone been able to find where to buy one online yet, I haven't seen them in stores or online. Can anyone help me out?
I've seen some replica ones at the Galleria the other day. They also have replica ones at the Aventura Mall in Miami, FL (not that you care). Oh, I also saw some at finishline.com I believe.
There was a thread about this in (I think) the Rockets Classifieds forum. I bought mine at The Athlete's Foot at Greenspoint Mall. Damn, talk a ghetto-ass mall. They also had them there at Champs. All they had were the Reebok ones, though the Nike ones are much better quality. I've never seen the Nike ones for sale as they were supposedly very limited. The Reebok jerseys (I've got a retro Francis and a retro Yao) were $45, vs. $70 for the Nikes.
When I think of #11 for the Rockets, I still think of Mad Max. Wasn't Yao's number of the Chinese National Team #15 or something? Why didn't he take that number? Maybe he didn't want to rub Tim Breux in the wrong way.
i'm guessing he picked 11 because that's sabonis number? yao's number on the shanghai sharks was #15 i think. as for the chinese national team, he was #13. for some weird reason, 13 is supposedly a lucky number from what i heard.
i hate those screen print jersey's.. they cost you $40-$50 and its just temporary. if your not careful, it'll just fade or just be erased. i love those nike swingmans. those are what you call "high-class replicas"! i dont get it though, yao is a great commercial and they didnt do a retro jersey for him. only for stevie. i dont get it.. oh, and did yall noticed yao's nike swingman jersey? instead of it saying yao, its has MING on the back of those nike swingman jerseys?! are the nike people dumb as hell???

I have never seen a Yao retro Nike swingman. If anyone can prove they exist, go for it. it shouldnt be too hard to find a pic online??? I have only seen Yao Reebok screened replicas. The quality is inferior to the Nike Swingman for Francis retro. Places that I have spotted the Yao Retro jerseys in town are the Athletes Foot and Champs. Champs did have them buy one get one 50% off. Thats where I got mine. If I saw a Nike Swingman I would cop it immediately.
Since the Rockets are moving into a new arena, I heard the team is gonna get new jerseys with a new design and a new logo . Has anybody else heard about this, and does anybody know what the new jersey willl look like?
Off topic..but I am kinda curious. That guy is trying to sell Jersey for his own profit and he has Yao's picture on his site to promote it. Is it legal?
