#1 thing Draft Ming did was motivate Cato. If anything else he was worth the pick for this alone.

But let's look at Kwame Brown and Olowokandi

    ROOKIE YEARS
    Kwame - 39% FG% - 70.7% FT% - 3.5 rbs - .8 asst - .28 stls - .46 blks - .75 TOs - 4.5 pts
    Olowokandi - 43% FG% - 48% FT% - 8rbs - .6 asst - .6 Steals - 1.2 Blks - 2 tos - 9 pts

    YAO so far
    YAo - 44.4% FG % - 57.1 FT% - 3.7 Rbs - .7 asst - 0 asst - .3 blks - 1.3 TOs - 3.3 pts

I expect Yao to get better but I think we need to see how other #1 Draft Pick Centers in recent years have done.

Yao's numbers are pretty comparable especially given the fact that he is learning a whole new and more physical style of play.

Given time he will be great.

Ming needs not to be PASSIVE!!(I think thats how you spell it) He made a great assist to Rice but he had a more High percentage shot and should have taken it. I know he just wants to contribute but He needs to realize that he can help us alot more by trying to get the other Team in Foul trouble. Thats all i have to say. :D
