Shanghai is working on Yao Ming to be a nominee for this year's Laureus Award, which will be awarded in Shanghai in May. Lance Armstrong was the sportsman in the year 2002, and Jennifer Capriati was the sportswoman. I think Yao Ming has a very good chance of winning it too. How sweet would that be? In addition to the top 10 athletes award, ROY award. Wow... Rockets rocks. Please Yao, take us to the playoffs. Go Rockets.

BTW: There's a book coming out on Yao about his growing up. The big guy is the hottest thing in sports right now.

    GO YAO....
