Really? Because when Yao was playing and Tmac was healthy, we had the best roadtrip in Rockets history.

And now that Yao is out, we're quickly approaching the abysmal 0-8 record we suffered when Tmac was out.

And Tmac is getting doubled off the ball and tripled with the ball on a regular basis nowadays.

But it all has nothing to do with Yao being out?

It has to do with roleplayers sucking it up, they hit their shots, they pull the double off of T-Mac.. He then goes to work. Since they CAN'T hit a simple open jumper, t-mac gets doubled without the ball and tripled with it and we lose.

    I rememeber this!!!!

WAIT how can Yao and T-Mac both be doubled?? They leaves 4 open men.. AHH uh no..opponents rotations go to work since T-Mac is a small forward and closer into Yao making it much easier to double them both while using only 3 guys leaving 3 open men, all who seem to miss shots. You can't really drive since the lane is so clogged up.

Conclusion, get some roleplayers who CAN play in a set system. Outcome = Yao Ming and T-Mac being the leaders they are and winning like they should.

When T-Mac was out, the role players had bad shooting games too. Maybe the low FG% effect has something to do with the fact that one of the stars is out.

Yao is the only Rockets who can shoot over 50%. Save Swift, the other guys are shooting below 45% and most of them below 40%.

Take Yao out, you will definately see the current shooting % Rockets have these games. No many guys in the league can average 20 points with 14 shooting attempts a game.

You make no sense seriously. Our role player had sucked all year even with Rafer and Anderson, but you seem to miss the simple point that having BOTH Yao and T-Mac on the floor gives our role-player the much needed confident to shoot. Thats why Yao was so vital to the team's success and his impact or lack there of has shown when he's out. Its funny, all of the doubters of Yao admitted they were wrong about how valuble and great of a player he is playing with almost no big toe and then we have one person come and say Yao's absent's was not the reason why we kept on losing? Thats just as dumb sounding as saying T-Mac's absents wasn't the reason why we were losing. Sure there're many reason why we loss as stated by you, but not having both of our star player on the floor at the same time is the biggest reason, period.

The comment I made with the 'I Remembers' was basically a comment on how sh/tty our roleplayers have been.

Sorry if it seemed like I was saying they were good.., cause I wasn't.

The roleplayers suck, so because of that you must expect Yao and T-Mac to be double teamed/tripled teamed, and since the rp's can't hit shots we lose.

Whether it be TMac alone, Yao alone, or both together we will never win the championship with them being surrounded by guys who can't hit a simple open jumper on a consistant basis.

When I started this thread I was just in outrage, blaming Yao mostly and forgetting about the other 4 players that were on the court.. Now I guess you can say I've seen the light. T-Mac has been a leader.. Yao has been a leader, NOW PLEASE all we ask is for those open jumpshot shooters lead a ball or two through the rim.

Yao was a leader by getting those guys open shots, WIDE open, T-Mac was a leader by getting those guys open shots the same way. It isn't their fault, they can't hit those shots for them.

They make us a 20-30% shooting team, 20-30% shooting teams don't win games...

    And our roleplayers comments??

DA - "I've never shot this poor in my entire career" <-- my comment to him "No Sh/t, now step it up"(when he comes back that is.)

Our role players aren't stepping up, we haven't had our starting lineup together besides maybe the first couple of games of the season and for some reason everyone wants to blame Yao. Yao is a good player starting to become a great player; he has been working and it shows: hes buffed up, better footwork, more aggressive than last year, and his numbers have improved again. I don't get this argument that he doesn't deserve max because there are only a handful of players in the league that deserve maximum and half the players who are getting paid max don't deserve it. Would you guys rather have Jalen Rose or Tim Thomas or how about Kenyon (who has not improved his game at all since entering the league) opposed to Yao? These are all max players who "deserve" their pay right? Yao is in his 5th Nba season and every year his numbers have improved and every year he gets better. The only thing I wish Yao would change is to stop playing for China in the summer so he can just purely work on his game.
