I am shocked at the amount of people that are against the Rockets drafting Yao. Not only will he probably be a great player but he will change the Rockets franchise and bring a whole other group of fans. Millions will tune into most of their games.
This isn't a bad roster either if they get amare and yao.

    PG- Steve Francis
    SG- Cuttino Mobley, Glen Rice
    SF- Eddie Griffin, Terrance Morris
    PF- Kenny Thomas, Mo Taylor
    C- Yao Ming, Kelvin Cato

That in my opinion is a playoff team. Francis is the perfect guy to help Yao Ming develop also.

    You forgot Amare. :)

Anyway, someone recently reported an article that stated Amare's stamina isn't where it needs to be and that he was basically abused by Ryan Humphries. At some point during the workout, he called it quits because he couldn't keep up. I'm not sure if that's true or someone wanting to drop Amare down a bit further, but there you go... I think the workout was for the Magic.

Glenn Rice couldn't effectively backup the 2 spot. Oh...and Griff IS A POWER FOWARD on this team.

But you're right....no matter the order or the line-up, Yao will be a great addition to this team for now and the future.

If Steve and Cat and even Griff can form any sort of a personal relationship with Ming, so that they care if he is succeeding or not, this could be a scary team!
