Ok, I thought this game today deserved its own thread.

Clemens vs. Wood - Something about two Texas flame throwers going at it. (and both hold the MLB record for Ks in a game with 20 each)

    Clemens going for #300

Clemens going for his 4,000th K

    Sosa and his "Cork-gate"

Cubs 1 game behind the Astros in 1st place.

    Go Yanks!!!!

I hope Wood does as Kornheiser suggested...throw at Clemens' head. Clemens likes to do it, but is too big a p***y to pitch in NL parks. If he wasn't going for number 300, he wouldn't be starting today.

I want it to be a high-scoring affair, with the Yankees winning 42-41 in the 42nd (Sosa with 18Ks). Clemens will then have to go for #300 against the Good Guys.

Those were some nasty breaking balls Wood was throwing.

Oh wow...that is probably a concussion at LEAST. Could be career ending if he is as bad as it seems. You don't see ambulances come onto the field very often.
