I am trying to play COD4 online but it wont connect to any games. Just says waiting on so and so players. It doesn't join potential matches, nor does anyone ever join the match I create. Anyone know whats up and why this is doing this all of a sudden?
It's happened to me on both Halo and COD4. I just exit back to the dashboard and reboot the game. Takes care of it, or at least for me it did.
most of my xbox live sessions end with a broken wireless connection and a broken modem connection to where i have to reboot the modem, router, and game adapter to get connectivity back. it happens more often than not. anyone else experience this? it always happens during gameplay.
it could possibly be your NAT settings. Make sure they are set to "open" instead of "strict" or "moderate". You can do this by running a test on your connection.
Sometimes too many people are playing. It happened a lot during Christmas time. Just wait and it should fix itself.
