I haven't bought a new xbox 360 game since Madden... I don't really have a lot of time to play, but I'd like to get a new game it just seems like there's not a lot out there? I've heard there was going to be sequels to: --Fable --Jame Empire --Elder Scrolls Does anyone know if those are still being developed and the approximate timeline? I guess otherwise I can just wait for GTA IV.
I have heard that the Elder Scrolls sequel will be at least a couple of years away. I know that Bethesda had a majority of the Elder Scrolls team working on Fallout 3. So Fallout 3 should come out first, but they haven't said what platforms it will be for. Jade Empire has been talked about as having a sequel, but I have seen no timeline what-so-ever.
Bioware is currently finishing up both Mass Effect and Dragon Age. They've more or less confirmed that Jade Empire 2 was in the works, although with those projects still yet to be released, it is probably on hold. Once those games get finished, they'll probably turn their focus to Jade Empire 2 (and I guess Mass Effect 2 since it is supposed to be a trilogy IIRC, but they might be able to get a smaller team to work on that). As mentioned, a new Elder Scrolls game will be years away, and that's not even considering Bethesda working on Fallout 3. Those games take a lot of time to develop. There will be some expansions though, as with Shivering Isles. Of course, as alluded to with Fable 2, it is hard to give an accurate timeline even for games further along in development (especially with games like these).
