Did anyone catch this crappy ass ending show? What was it all about? Some piece of spine metal that was in a crate of devoured flesh which can regenerate into long lost Uncle Bob....whoopity doo. Then, the spine and several of his metal spine friends were after Scully's baby. It was supposed to be some superman baby generated solo by the computer chip in her neck? How stupid is that? So, the very end, the spines find Scully at the log cabin in BFE ghost town log cabin, stand around watching Scully give birth, and then they just leave because the baby wasn't what they expected(like some metal spine person angel of death)....or something. What a crappy finale! I must have missed what the spine people are...are they alien or...they hinted or said they were from a govt. experiment. Leave it to the damn writers to turn an alien invasion into another damn govt. cluster f#*k experiment. Oh....and the very, very end. We know Fox Mulder isn't coming back next season. So, what do they do? Fox finally makes his move on Scully with some deep tongue kissing there at the end. Why? What are they going to do next season? Oh...right after they kissed....Fox fell down a flight of stairs and died...turns out Scully does the autopsy and finds alien DNA and a chip in his neck and...........HE'S PREGNANT. DOH!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know...I just kind of expected more from this show. But, that finale was the worst ever. Did nothing for the x-files. Did nothing to explain where Fox goes as it already stated he isn't coming back. This finale was almost as pointless as "Magnolia" when the frogs fell from the sky. Ribbit!!! I may just quit watching now. I like the episodes of the x-files which aren't related to the whole govt./alien conspiracy theory. At least I can understand those. The conspiracy theory is so full of holes the crap is just seeping out of it everywhere. So, maybe someone else could explain what they saw in that finale? they did overdo the Terminator 2 stuff though with the regenerating metal bones. the parking garage chase. it's just too much forced irony with robert patrick and all. what's next a guest appearance by ed furlong and linda hamilton? they said these were new aliens i think. the roswell finale didn't make much sense either. ------------------
