why do you think sucha thing would cause them to go bankrupt? They essentially have a monopoly on the wrestling market, I doubt changing to the WWE (even though it sucks) will make THAT big of a difference.
It's not just the name change...it's just that ratings are the worst they've ever been...and as much as people hate to admit it...the WWF was its best when WCW was around. The competition between the two companies fueled a rivalry and brought interest to both, with the WWF winning out. Now with the emergence of "The Osbournes", wrestling is no longer the highest-rated on cable TV. Just a transition period for the WWE, I guess. Hopefully they'll come out OK.
