I can get into it sometimes when i accidentially change it to that channel. It's not too shabby but i'dd rather be watching NBA Summer League on ESPN and ESPN2.
Because Nash tore his quad last week and will be out for at least six months. But yeah, that rationale is pretty stupid. The nWo won their huge match last week and then disband because their leader(who's been injured all year) gets injured again. Their on-camera explanations leave just a little to be desired. There goes that whole Triple H angle... And now Vince has put two people that have tried to put him out of business(both on camera, by the way), Bischoff and Stephanie in charge of the shows. I'm not asking for Shakespeare, just a little consistency with the continuity. Booking can't be that hard!
I remember that. Man, that was back in the day. I'd forgotten how early I'd gotten into half naked chicks.
Wasn't it Eric Bischoff who "forced" guys to join the nWo in WCW? Vince killed the nWo and less than 1 hour later brings in Bischoff, giving him "carte blanche." My guess is that Bischoff brings back the nWo and its newest member Triple H at Vengeance on Sunday night.
I've been watching wrestling since I was in elementary school. (which actually is less than 10 years. ) My dad used to watch it, and since nothing else was on TV, I watched it. I've been hooked ever since. I admit that lately its gotten pretty bad, but I still watch it. If I'm not watching sports, I'm watching wrestling. My only complaint is they need to get better refs to act. I love how one punch could knockout a man for 10 minutes!
Yeah I get your point. The counterpoint is that we'll have Brock Lesnar punch you and see how long you're lying down for.
Scott Hall doing anything was hilarious. "Hey yo!", I had forgotten all about that. What happened to Goldberg?
Last I heard Goldberg had a contract with Time Warner not WCW, so when Vince bought WCW, Goldberg could not wrestle. I don't know if/when his contract is up but with the current state of wrestling I think he's better off staying out.
Time Warner bought out the remaining time on Goldberg's contract last month. Additionally he told KTRH SportsBeat last weekend that he would return to the wrestling ring before 2002 ends. Many have speculated about which promotion he will go to. I doubt he'll do Japan due to the travel commitments. As for NWA:TNA I don't think he'll show up there for 2 reasons: 1) Money 2) He hates their new head booker, Vince Russo. Therefore, I believe he will surface alongside Eric Bischoff on RAW sometime soon.
Goldberg will be back on RAW, from what i remember Bishoff and him were quite tight. Goldberg v Lesnar will be great!!!
I wish that they had brought him back as Razor Ramon earlier this year. That gimmick was awesome. "hey chico, I'm the bad guy." (throws a toothpick in the Rock's face, then Edges him into a swimming pool)
