You're wrong my man! The Nature Boy of the Mid - South was Buddy Landell, not Buddy Rogers. And you call yourself a wrestling fan... ------------------
You won't believe this, but I swear it's true... I had typed Buddy Landell, then changed it to Buddy Rogers... lol!! That's why it was edited... but hey, I was wrong, I can admit it! haha! This stuff just kills me. ------------------ <this space for rent>
WRESTLING IZ NOT FAKE!!!!!! UR LYING!!!!! LIAR!!!! Hehehe... I'm anxiously awaiting the day Barkley steps into a WWF ring -- that may be the only place is outlandish personality would fit to a tee.. ------------------ It doesn't matter if I have a signature!
Stone Cold- I made Barkley with the Create-a-wrestler on my nephew's Wrestlemania 2000 for N64. Looks a lot like he does and kicks ass! For his finisher I put that move he did on $haq(who is also a created player in the game and one of CB's rivals). But man, you're right- the WWF would be the perfect place for Chuck! We allready know the man can cut some friggin' hillarious interviews, and it would kick ass to see Chuck walk down a ramp to his own music donned in Jesse Ventura-esque garb or whatever else his personality would dictate him wearing! He'd probably be a good in-the-ring worker, too. ------------------ WE WILL WATCH THEM FALL... Next year [This message has been edited by AntiSonic (edited July 14, 2000).]
Yes wrestling is fake... but who cares? It's great to watch! I'm not so much impressed with wrestlers as athletes but as masochists. Just because you get thrown out of the ring doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. If you want to see a great documentary about wrestling, watch "Beyond The Mat". It's a serious documentary about what wrestlers go through outside of the ring (and the business). No wrestling organization promotes this film. It shows Jake "The Snake" Roberts, who now barnstorms the country for whatever cent he can get. He's also a drug addict (He admits that he uses cocaine in the film). I'm not surprised. In a business like that, how can you not use drugs to cope with the pain. It also shows Mankind (forgot his real name) trying to explain to his (very young kids) that nobody in wrestling really hates him or wants to hurt him. It really shows the sad side of wrestling. ------------------ "One who conquers others is strong; One who conquers himself is mighty" - Lao Tzu
I like wrestling too. I've been to watch the WWF and WCW when they come over to England. BTW thanks to those for pointing it out to me that it's fake. I'd have never have guessed otherwise. Eejits... ------------------
Anti-Sonic -- I've heared off and on rumors of interest from both Shaq's AND Charles camp of entering the squared circle, though not necessarily against each other....even that'd be really cool. I do remember seeing Sir Charles on RAW once...I think it was the last time the WWF came through Houston... ------------------ It doesn't matter if I have a signature!
