anybody watching? I missed the first hour. I caught the end of the JBL/Benoit Match. Edge and Foley went through a flaming table.
damnit damnit damnit April 1st, 2007. Detroit, Michigan Ford Field 20 Years since the thingie in the Silverdome.
That's what I thought as well, but from the comments I'm reading on another message board, it seems like they're putting on a really good show. I'm hyped for Raw tomorrow night. Rumors are that Austin vs. Hogan is finally a go and they're going to start the buildup.
I've heard rumors that we are going to get Royal Rumble next year, but can't find a site that comfirms it. I was hoping for WM next year since they were going in order of largest cities (WM20/NY, WM21/LA, and WM22/Chicago) but guess it wasn't in the cards.
it made since, NY LA Chicago, why not Houston next. in order of largest population. Houston is the 10th largest tv market ahead of Detroit. Normal Raw ratings are 3.0 or 3.5, but in Houston, it's double that according to the column by Ken Hoffman. That should help our cause.
Best Wrestlemania I've ever seen, and I've watched 18 1/2 of them in the past couple of months... Once again, Money in the Bank stole the show. This is officially a Wrestlemania staple, now. You just have to watch that match to really appreciate how good it was... Foley/Edge was awesome. That was classic when he wrapped the barbed wire around socko. McMahon/Michaels kicked some SUPREME ass. Michaels was going to elbow Vince from a ladder through the table, but then he gets a humongous 30 foot ladder, puts a trash can around Vince, and.....well, you know the rest. It had to be seen to be believed The only crappy match of the night was Booker T vs. Boogeyman. Gawd, Boogeyman is the worst wrestler in history. I was disappointed that Cena beat HHH, also. The crowd was electric during that match. It's weird that HHH has so much play in WWE as Vince's son in law, yet he keeps losing at Wrestlemania
I think WWE might do like the NFL and NBA and go to cities that have the newest/biggest arenas or stadiums. What I'd like to see is a Wrestlemania in that huge stadium in Mexico City with 150K fans...
Could actually hurt Houston. I mean, it's gonna be a sellout, regardless. Houstonioans will watch obviously.
Triple H is just pushing the young superstars now, and he is grooming the talent. Proves that he really does put the business before himself, great PPV. That Austin-Hogan thing makes sense, b/c if you noticed the banners hanging from the roof, Austin and Hogan where the only banners that did not appear on the night.
I saw Huckster up there. Who else thought this show was going to suck? I love how Cena was getting booed. I've been booing Cena since 2004. I was praying for 23 to come to Houston. I guess we will have to wait til 2008. Here is the link about the ratings in Houston. Read the article about Clemens if you want to also, but look towards the bottom.
