What a monster rebounding effort! Are we starting to expect games like these? ------------------ Sometimes you gotta do the next best thing!
When was the last time Hakeem snatched up 20 rebounds? any ideas? ------------------ "I think the people who believed the world was flat were pretty stupid. You would think at least those living near mountains would know better." - P. Mesku
Dream's trying to be the team leader in rebounding. He's trying to make Francis look bad! Oh wait, he's the center. ------------------ Good night everyone, Canadian or American. Just remember that we're all bound together by basketball, the internet and the mullet. (My attempts at trying to sooth over an international incident).
Achebe, Can you post a Dream Hater response every night, he only grabbed 20 boards tonight. I would really like to see him grab 30 or more next time. ------------------ I am an invisible man.
I love the fact that Dream is boarding like this. Now Steve and Cat need to realize that they, as guards, do not need to crash the boards as often anymore, and get out down the court and show us some fast-break action! With a backcourt as lively, quick, and skilled as we have, they should be flashing up and down that court, getting easy layups and alley oop slams. ------------------ "Of course, everything looks bad if you remember it!" Found it! It was Olajuwon's highest rebound total since he had 20 on Feb. 16, 1998 ------------------ "I think the people who believed the world was flat were pretty stupid. You would think at least those living near mountains would know better." - P. Mesku
Dream hater? Huh? OK. ------------------ Good night everyone, Canadian or American. Just remember that we're all bound together by basketball, the internet and the mullet. (My attempts at trying to sooth over an international incident).
Actually, I think that defensive rebounding is a very overrated stat. Dream's blocks and steals last night were much more impressive. But Dream had one offensive rebound last night that was just tremendous. He looked 15 yrs younger. As for Rockets guards crashing the boards, they still have to do it. The Rockets give up way to many offensive rebounds, particulary when Hakeem is out of the game. Francis and Mobely (as well as shandon and Mo) have to keep going after rebounds.
kbm: It's called being facetious . You should try it sometime. ------------------ Shandon Anderson rocks. The lottery sucks. Playoffs 2001.
At least the guards now do not have to crash the boards on defence so they can concentrate on running the fast breaks more often. Dream should take catapult hurling classes now, so he can throw the rock full court during breaks. ------------------ Do not harm little children!
Makes you realize just how horrid a rebounder Mo is.... LOL ! DaDakota ------------------ If Mankind evolved from monkeys and apes, then why are there still monkeys and apes?
Can't get enough of Dream this last 4 games. I think we should savor every last bit of this moment because he'll be gone sooner than we think. A truly, remarkably gifted athlete. Way to go Dream, keep up the good work!!!! ------------------
With Mobley and Richmond on the same court, I'm suprised everyone didn't have 20 rebounds. ------------------ "Stranger things have happened, but none stranger than this" - Commentator after a parachutist landed in the ring of a Holyfield fight

Hey Haven, Thanks for the English lesson. But really, though, my statement was no worse than achebe's. No malice. It was just an opinion. Lighten up, man. ------------------ I am an invisible man.
I'm not sure when the last time he got 20 rebounds, but the last time he snatched 15 defensive boards was in 1995. ------------------ "The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history.
