I think Ryan Bowen is probably the worst player in the league that I've seen play. Of course, there are a lot of players that I've never seen.
The worst player in the NBA is a player we've never even heard of. They're the ones that never cracks into the rotation, probably not even all that good enough to be on the bench. I'm gonna randomly pick a name from... oh... say the 76ers. Jodie Meeks. Who the hell is he? I'm sure out of all the names mentioned here, they're not any worse than Mr. Meeks.
Anyone who said Brian Sclabrene or Matt Boner is in my opinion either stupid or racist. Those two guys contributed a lot on championship teams.. ther are at least 50 percent of worse players.
Jodie Meeks is the guy that won the NCAA Championship for Kansas a few years back IIRC...he just hasnt had an opportunity yet.
Larry Hughes--how can a 2 guard be such an awful shooter? Brian Cardinal--looks like a janitor, lucky as hell that he got that contract Mardy Collins--awful shooter, provides nothing else, but is on the Clippers so may not count as an NBA player Joey Dorsey
You make it sound as if T-Mac is mentally handicap and people are making fun of him. The guy got paid MILLIONS to PLAY basketball. So let's not make it out as if he is mentally handicap and that by playing basketball, he has achieved something unbelievable. Geezz....
i disagree with the ryan bowen mentions. he did a solid job on the defensive end against dirk in the 2005 playoffs. dont believe me cus u forgot or didnt even watch the series? check out the boxscores: http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/nba/preview?gid=2005042306 again if it wasn't for some suspicious calls from the officials the rockets couldve won the series and it would've been a major upset. when looking at the "worst player" u gotta consider the salary in the formula... ie if u pay for a scrub, u get a scrub(bowen). the real "worst players" are the ones that are grossly overpaid and have zero or even negative impact on the team (eddy curry)
Jodie Meeks is the rookie guard from Kentucky. He dropped 50 once and 40 twice I believe for Kentucky two years ago. He can score but he is small for a 2 and not a natural 1. He is like a poor man's Ben Gordon. But he is a rookie, you can't say he is the worst because he didn't crack a rotation as a rookie. I've seen him play, he's definitely better than Bowen and Scalabrine. He played in 60 games averaging about 5 pts. Very similar numbers to Brooks his rookie year. Randomly picking someone and assuming they are worse than Bowen is just ignorant
