I don't see what's so special. Seven seems to be coming more common nowadays. I know George Costanza said he'd name his kid seven on one episode, and maybe that's why it's becoming popular. I believe that a poster on this board said they wanted to name their kid seven....

I think in Freaknomics he talks about a lady who named her kid a name that she wanted pronounced "Shee - Thay - Ad" or if you put it together, SHI+THE+AD and the doctors at the hospital fought with her to not to spell it that way.
