World Chess Championship 2013

    I don't play much or watch any chess but apparently this years match is a huge deal. Here are the two opponents:

    Magnus Carlsen, the Challenger

    Viswanathan Anand, the Defending Champion

    They play 12 matches over about 20 days and the first 4 matches have already been played (all draws). Info can be found here

    Their first four matches ended in draws? Good God and people complain about draws in soccer...

    I have always wanted to play a highly ranked Chess player. Just to see how long I could stretch a match out for.

    Carlsen won 6.5-3.5. This makes him the 2nd youngest champion ever. I don;t keep up with chess, but this kid supposedly is the Micheal Jordan of the chess world.
