By the way, all the Cardinals fans I've read posting stuff have all been d*cks...far from classy.

On another board, Cards fans are laughing cause our players were celebrating with 2 outs. Who can blame our players? No one could have predicted Pujols would have parked one in left field (or should I say Lidge would have thrown him something to hit).

exactly, I'm sure Astro fans seem like dicks to them. I mean what are we supposed to be saying on this board? "I love that Cardinal team, its a shame one organization has to lose"

Edit: we have a thread celebrating a Cardinal injury.

exactly. Cards getting what they deserve..etc. if you're looking for Cards fans to say, "great job, 'stros...you're real winners!" then you'll be looking for quite some time. no one does that.

Yeah. I giggled when reading one of the game threads from when we won and we had posters here making fun of how crazy the Cardinal fans were going. This, as I proceed to read Astros fans going nuts here with every play. We're the pot, they're the kettle, we're all black.

    Here's my view...

Oswalt has already shut them down once in STL and will do it again. Biggio, Ensberg, and Lane are coming out of their collective funks. Burke and Ausmus are still hot. Berkman is on freaking fire. Qualls will get a much deserved day off and be ready to mow them down again. Lidge wil ldo what great closers do. He'll wake up this morning like it's Opening Day.

    This ends on Wednesday.

Like most of you I was in shock, then pissed and then depressed but lets look at this thing rationally. We got a 20 game winner coming to the mound on Wed. and we've cracked a huge psychological barrier by winning in St. Louis. This isn't the Oilers at Buffalo in '93, Game 6 of 1997 or Stros / Mets game 6 86. We've still got two more shots at winning this whole thing.

    KEEP THE FAITH! GO STROS!

This Astros attitude, plus U.S. soccer, equals me declaring you my lifelong non-#houstonrockets sports ally, whether you like it or not.

    Congratulations. :p

He wasn't really in a funk, but he did drive in his first runs of the postseason last night.
