Okay, I just got my laptop back recently and I haven't found my office disk yet, so I'm doing scouting reports on wordpad. I just finished half of a Rockets game last night (it took like 5 hours) and saved and all. I open up the file today and it's only a few text lines. Argh!!!! I saved it under .rtf I figured out what happened. I copy and pasted a picture from paint onto the screen, and everything below the picture disappeared. I've retested the scenario, and every time i create a wordpad file and put a picture in there, everything below the picture (including the picture itself) will be deleted after i save, close, and reopen. Am I screwed?
Unless the text is behind the graphic, you might be scheduling another 5 hours. Try moving the graphic. The only thing I can think of is if you save periodically and it might be in a different restore point. I've never used restore point personally, but it has saved a few people that I know.
Thanks for the help guys. I'm screwed though..tried both things. It's okay...was a Mavs Rockets game, but now that Yao is back, I guess I'll do another game.
Aren't you the poster who said he is retiring from Cluch BBS because you are so whipped after getting married?
