Looks to me that this woot off is nothing more than an end of quarter run in order to try to boost revenues.
Woot has this "Your own adventure" thing for April Fools.... BOC probably hidden like last year but this is like a maze.
got mine all you have to do is get to page 27 (in the address bar) and then change 27 to 28. It is a fairly long process I know it starts with the bottom left then choose the paco option, cant remember after that but you can go back one step on most of them if you mess up. And don't try typing in any numbers until you get to page 27 that will mess you up and you will have to start over.
Got the confirmation for my first BOC ever! And to think, I wasn't even planning on wooting tonight...
The thing that gets me is that they have done something like this for about 3-4 years now and it always ends with a BOC. There were still people yesterday claiming to be avid wooters that gave up after the front page did not show BOC. One guy that had over 60 woots actually said he was taking his business elsewhere because he didn't figure out how to get the BOC and because he can't get to his computer at the normal time they drop them during woot offs. He seemed quite angry, which actually made me laugh. I have had many times in the past where I haven't gotten a bag, and if last night had been one of those times I still would have thought the joke was funny. I was very entertained by the site, and went back through it several times after I had secured my stash. Some people just take it like woot has wronged them because they don't have enough sense or luck to get the bag. And I fear you are right with the way things are today, some moron is gonna go off and blow up the woot warehouse.
