I've my tickets for a week now, I'll be at Westgate Theatres for the 10:40 showing of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone!!! I can already tell that this movie is going to be awesome. The effects look great and the score is awesome. They start shooting the Chamber of Secrets next week, I believe. Anyone else excited?
Oh my goodness RM95! I don't know for sure yet but I'm probably going to see Harry Potter at Westgate at 10:40. It depends on what happens at Gregory. Is it a sellout already?
Oily I hope your taste in painting is better than your taste in movies! Actually I'm a late starter. I'm about 200 pages into the 1st book, so I'll wait until I finish before I see the movie. SO NOBODY GIVE IT WAY IN THIS THREAD!!!!
I heard that during the filming of Harry Potter, the lead kid's voice broke! They had to re-dub his entire characters dialogue!? rH
I got your back tonight. If any 10 year olds are disturbing your movie experience, shout out "Did you just say Steve Francis sucks!!!" I'll come right over and give the kid a taste of my hand Sorry
I've heard that wasn't true. Smokey, you goin' tonight? I'll be the big p***y with his girlfriend! Actually, I'm about 6'2'', weigh around 220 with shaggy dark brown hair. I'll be with a girl around a foot shorter than me. You know, it's because of you that I've been listening to New Order for the past few days!
I wanted to see a movie tonight, any movie starting after 10:30, but my plans got shot down at the last second. My friend who likes Harry Potter went to Houston for the weekend so I was really outnumbered. There's always tomorrow night after the Rockets game.
December, my good man. Like yourself I am pumped for the one true ring, lotr.org along with chud.com have all of the coverage you will need. Also, a noteworthy tip, check out the full length (not tv edit) trailers.
Ugh, please tell me none of you clap at movies. I hate it bad enough when people clap at the end (the only exception being when the director or stars are in the crowd), but clapping at the first scene, then the title shot, are really unnecessary and annoying. Don't get me started on the idiots who clapped at the Star Wars trailer.
Isn't this a doubleheader w/ the Care Bears?... Not that there's anything wrong w/ that. LOL. btw, i do intend to watch this movie
I can honestly say that I have never clapped at a movie. It's not live, so... I have never understood that either. I just shuffle around my seat uncomfortably while everyone else is clapping.
Me and my girl have Potter tickets for tonight. We knew getting tickets in crowded NYC would be a major problem, so we bought them last week. We've both finished all 4 Potter books and are eagerly awaiting Order of the Phoenix...
