Will these cards somehow go up in value when the WNBA folds?

Hahaha... maybe waaaaaaaay down the line, IF the league folds. That's certainly not motivating my purchase, though. I'm just a fan hoping the league survives. :)

Oh yeah.....they'll be worth MILLIONS!! :) No,seriously I'd concur with what Drexlerfan 22 said.

At the risk of sounding "gay" :) ,while sorting the cards,my interest was kinda aroused about the WNBA,so I checked it out [I really had'nt heard much about it after the first couple years].There were a handful of players whose cards I have that are still playing, but not many.

That's actually because the talent level has shot up dramatically. Not gonna lie, the WNBA was pretty terrible the first couple of years. You had players who were starting that couldn't even make it onto a roster today... probably because as the years have gone on, prospective players had a longer period of time knowing that the WNBA was something they could aspire to. I mean, if there were no NBA, do you think Kobe would've worked so hard on his game? Probably not.

This goes for everyone: if you judged the league from its first year or two, I suggest you take another look. The level of play has risen dramatically.
