Nice shot with no time left ending the first quarter of play by Mobley. In case anyone missed missed it, on the in-bounds from way back of the half court line, Mobley sunk the 3 to give the Rockets a tie heading into the 2nd quarter.
Since I live in the DC area, this is one of the only Rockets games I've been able to watch this year. Unfortunately I have to put up with a terrible play-by-play man who whines "Francis traveled, Francis traveled," and cries, "Why do teams always hit those impossible shots against the Wizards." However, the color-commentator (Phil Chenier) coached Francis in the Rookie Challenge and isn't bad. So I close out, the Wizards have a 5 point lead over our Rockets. Ths is one game we need to win to save face.

Im sorry, but I've been screaming at the TV for Rudy to take Collier out. The guy has no athleticism and gets boarded every play. For all those that defended him, and said "dont complain bla bla bla he fits into the rockets system" stop. The man is no more than a wide body with a decent shot, but he lacks any confidence and doesnt hit when he plays. If you think he's better than that, you are overestimating his talent. Put in LOS damnit.

Hakeem's kinda struggling on the offensive end, but at least he's finishing his layups. Hey BAD, what are the wizards announcers saying about the rocks players or team in general?

I know ,Collier has to play back into shape after injury, but, damn,he looks pathetic for a top ten pick.I think Los definitely has gotten jobbed on minutes since he's been here.I'll tell you what though,Rip Hamilton really looks smooth..a player there..good to see Dream crashing the boards and active defensively. He really looks good despite a couple of awkward shots. The Wiz were playing well before the break..I think they shot their wad at half of this game though and we run away now..Face up Mo, turn Stevie loose and let Dream clean up tonight.

The Wizards announcers praised Francis but would not stop mentioning the fact that he, Moochie, and Walt Williams have Maryland connections. The announcers also said the Rockets are young and have a good nucleus.
