    Hey guys,

Just a quick question revolving around wireless internet for my lap top.

I've got a router downstairs which i get my connection from.

Most of the time i switch my lap top on and i'm good to go.

Other times i turn it on and there's no connection. So i disconnect... connect... turn the wireless connection thing on my lap top on and off...

Sometimes it takes me a good half hour to get a connection - and others it simply wont connect for me at all.

I could be on my computer and shut it down after it'd been working perfectly for an hour. An hour later i switch it back on and it doesn't work.

Just wondering if any of you guys know what the go is with this?

my cheap verizon wireless router/modem does the same. I have to turn the router off/on and then i can jump on the internet. This happens with any wireless device. I found that I had some static on some of the phones, so i replaced the faulty telephone line and that has dramatically reduced the problem.
