Dude you have to execute the file

    1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory
    on your hard drive.

    2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the
    on-screen instructions.

NOTE: After the files are unpacked, the Setup
program runs automatically. If the setup program
(Setup.exe) needs to be run manually, look for it
    in the download directory.

When you went through the run>next>next etc process, was there a finish or please restart PC?

If so you must restart your Notebook

Once you have installed then you must go to the directory where you installed the executable file.

More than likely by default it will be

C: (Local Drive)>SW Setup> In this folder you should see setup (Click on It)

This is funny dont worry, we'll get it working

1.So you downloaded the file form the site I gave you
2.You ran the file that you downloaded
3.I am assuming when you finished running nothing happened

    Is this right so far?

So now, basically what you have don so far is installed the setup files on your hard drive, now you just need to run the setup (Executable file)

    To do this:

Go to My Computer>C:(Local Drive - Assuming you only have one Hard Drive)>SwSetup(Folder)>SP39912(Folder)>Then double click Setup

What you are doing here is installing the wireless network adapter.

No, I actually want to continue if you don't mind. Try going to Device manager and see if it installed the wireless adapter

so when you ran the setup, did the installation ask you to restart your PC?
