Windows XP help

    ARGH.

    I don't know why but my windows automatically logs off when I click on the user/admin icon to log in. It "saves my settings" then automatically logs off..

    I've tried this solution http://www.lavasofthelp.com/articles/v6/04/06/0901.html already to no avail? Help?

    Please? All my files for this writing project I'm doing are on board and I don't want to nuke the laptop.

    I'm using Windows XP home version.
