I wasn't too excited cause initial reports sounded like just a reskinning but there seems to be some notable new features. 1. Windows store now can host Android apps and legacy Win32 apps. That's huge. 2 More touch friendly on tablets (let's see if they finally get it right, if so, that's huge) 3. Major performance boost over Win10 on the same hardware. If so, big for gaming, graphics, and high end systems. 4. They dumped Live tiles (but went with a revamped start menu so we'll see about that. For some reason, folks are super passionate about their legacy start menu.) 5. Added support for widgets 6. They are also baking Teams into the OS to take advantage of universal chat. Not sure how that'll play out. I'm sure they'll be plenty of articles out there about how to disable it. All in all, it actually sounds worthy of a full point upgrade.
