Is anybody else up in a downtown skyscraper today? The wind is swaying the building very loudly, and I'm only on the 33rd floor...I'm guessing up higher it's worse

Just walking around Fannin between Downtown and The medical center you can feel it pretty strong, i would imagine its worse up there. I only work in a 3 story building so i cant feel it in here.

Go to Lubbock for a day and then you'll know what windy is!

I'm on Allen Pkwy on the 5th floor, but I heard some guys on the elevator talking about this. I think they were coming from the 30-something floor.

I do know that the flagpoles look like they are about to snap.

If the building is swaying, I would be taking a day off.

All tall buildings sway in the wind. If they were too rigid, they would weaken & eventually break. It's pretty freaky, though.

No buildings sway while I am in them, otherwise, I quickly leave....

I guess the extra weight helps stabilize things a bit ;)
