I've got all 3. But if you already have an xbox, I would get the Wii. the 360 is my favorite. The Wii is very different, so I would go with that
Get a Wii. Pick up a PS3 when the price goes down and there are more games. You already have a 360 so you've got a lot of your 'standard' games covered. The Wii would compliment it perfectly.
ps3 if you want to get better adult games. and you have a pretty nice tv set up stuff like that i would get a wii if want to play more quick simple games with friends. best reply of the thread if i say myself because those are the reasons you would pick one or the other.
If it weren't for the 360, I'd automatically suggest PS3. Wii is just not something you'd play seriously unless you're still in grade school. However, with XBOX 360, then you simply have to ask yourself, "Do I have to play the PS3 exclusives?" You might want to check around to see which of those are, since by having a PS2, you get these games without realizing that they might not exist on another console. For example, I will eventually get a PS3 because I can't get Metal Gear/Final Fantasy elsewhere. And I must play those games. But if you look around and see there's no PS3 exclusive you must play, then definitely go for the Wii. It's a good change of pace from your serious 360 gameplay.
In general, I'd say the Wii is the one to get. I've always had this idea that most people would buy either a 360 or PS3, and then have a Wii to go along with those systems. That said, my answer could change based on what you want from your system and what you like to play. For example, if I was in your situation, I would probably get a PS3 without giving it much thought since there are far more than enough exclusive games to keep me happy (MGS4 alone is probably enough). They also cater a little more to the casual market than Microsoft does with things like Singstar, Buzz, the Eyetoy, and Home, so if you still want that aspect of gaming covered, you can still get it to some degree on the PS3 (although no where near as well as it is on the Wii). So yeah, basically what meh said. I always find it difficult to recommend systems to people without knowing what they like playing. I think it is great, but since it is Europe-only (at least at this point), I haven't really given it much thought.
If you have a 360, you are going to get about the same experience as having a PS3.....get the Wii.... DD
Well, I went with the Wii. I decided that there were not enough PS3 exclusives in the end for me to get it (never liked MGS, and sorta tired of FF, and figured I could get my fix from the Crystal Chronicles anyways, I would only miss God of War and maybe Heavenly Sword). And BluRay doesn't mean that much to me either. So I figured as some said here to go completely with the new experience with the Wii. They didn't have one when I got there, but said I would either get one today or next week as they come in pretty regularly now for them. I have about 300 in credit left after the trade. So now, for those who have a Wii? What game should I get? I will obviously get Wii sports as it comes with it. I was thinking about Super Paper Mario. Maybe Metroid Prime: Corruption if it is any good. (I would later get Bash Brothers and Galaxy I am sure). I noticed that the Wii games are not reviewed as well as 360 games, but I figure some of that has to do with the lesser visuals which are not that important to me for this system anways. What games have you enjoyed? I know someone said golf, but I really find golf games boring, maybe the wii will make it more exciting, but considering I don't play golf at all in real life, I am not sure mimicking the experience will be any better. Thanks for the help in choosing a system.
Zelda got perfect 10s from EGM. I've never seen that high a score before in my (few) years as a subscriber. I recommend Zelda (obviously) and Super Paper Mario.
metroid should be good. I will get it Paper mario - havent played it but heard its good. rayman rabbids - heard its fun...maybe be a renter though. its a party game warioware- see above madden- well i played last years and it really did add new life to the series. i heard this years is much improved control wise. Ones i've played: Elebits- simple but really cool and fun game. May be just a renter though Godfather:blackhand - GTA style game. Its a port so graphics arent great but good story and good use of controls. Resident evil 4- only if you've never played the older version one. plus its only $30 i think might as well go ahead and buy a card with some Virtual console points on it..if you want to download some of the old school games.
I only have faith in Nintendo to make good games for the Wii, IMO wii will end up like the gamecube in terms of games
I'd go with RE4 if you haven't played it yet. It really frickin great with the new controls and blowing zombies to pieces is satisfying. However, the graphics are disappointing, but still, I thought it was a good experience. Lots of add-ons and bonus stuff that wasn't in the GC RE4, so if your into zombie killing minigames, thats the way to go. Zelda was pretty good, but I have a thing for zombies, so I went RE4. Paper Mario was also fun, but it was too simple and was over waaaaayy to fast. Either way, its your choice.
"Not even the best 3D Zelda games" is like saying, "it's not even one of the best games ever made." Although, I stopped in the midst of Majora's Mask, don't really know how the series has changed since
if you have a game cube now then keep the games and buy the Wii becasue you can play these games on the Wii. there is definitely more games for PS3, but if you have kids, then buy the Wii, you can also download old classic games via internet.
