this is just my opinion, so please don't bash me.

WHY in the world would we want to trade, and I have read, and i am only responding to some recent posts, Cuttino to Indiana for Austin?....

now i have never heard of such , i don't know , I wouldn't want that for anything, why can't Shandon come play small forward, Mario did AT TIMES, with Maxwell and Cassell, or Cassell and Smith in the game...

MObley should be our starting SG...

Hakeem and Cato are the other two, with Kenny and Collier and Langhi, and Pig, coming off the bench, oh yeah and Croshere if we can sign him......

that sounds good to me, Sign Rashard next year, after Hakeem retires, then we look like we're ready for some business.

DO WE WANNA TRADE AWAY OUR FIRST ROUND PICK next year to Indiana or anywhere else, hell, lets just go after a quick , "affordable" fix this year, then go after Lewis next year, and still have our draft picks this year and next..................

AGAIN JUST MY OPINION's so lay off the bisquits

Such a trade isn't likely at all. It's far more probably that Indiana would want a replacement for Smits and Perkins- Jason Collier fits this description quite nicely (jump shooting center).

Even if it were likely, I think you're overvaluing Mobley and undervaluing Croshere. Mobley SHOULD NOT BE STARTING. Day in and day out, Anderson was the more valuable player. Mobley is great off the bench-instant offense, but he wouldn't fit in with a disciplined starting unit. Mobley needs to be the first option to be fully effective. Starting Shandon at the SF spot puts him in a place where his strengths are not fully utilized.

Croshere would be a legitimate front court scoring option at the 3 or the 4... something we sorely lack right now. He shoots better than Mobley, can post up, AND plays better D... and they're the same age. Cat probably does "create" better. As far as I'm concerned, even if they're a wash (and I like Crohsere better), Croshere plays a position that we need help at... Mobley does not.

There's no guarantee we're going to sign Lewis next year. It would be a mistake to turn down Croshere in anticipation of getting Lewis. And even if we did, one could play the 3, and the other the 4.

Of course... this trade isn't going to happen... but if it was offered, we should take it.

Andersons are the missing pieces of the puzzle. Mobleys are here now but you can play em back on your vcr tommorrow.
