Why was this written this way? Do multi-team trades not only allow for more combinations to match... but for timing issues to trade players in various stages? (the 2-3 day rule or whatever it was).
Good question, Achebe. I'm looking forward to the answer too. Also, does this mean Milwaukee is not impressed with Joel Pryzbilla? Maybe Pryz and Collier were a wash, and we won the Griffin in the tossup.
I think the only reason it is written that way is because we got a player from Denver but compensated Milwaukee. So, in terms of making the transaction understandable, it is easiest to describe it in steps. That's my guess anyway.
