Let's just say say we are smart enough to draft Caron Butler......
Cuttino is a scorer, Mo Taylor is a scorer, Butler is a scorer , Rice was a scorer. We don't need an offensive-minded point pounding the ball and lulling his teammates to sleep. Steve has never shown any commitment to defense and good team defense starts at the point. Don't be blinded by his highlight reel when a ring would shine much brighter. In the best interest of the team Steve and Terrance Morris for Andre Miller and Michael Doleac would Make us Better defensively and offensively setting up our offense players in comfortable spots. Steve to me isn't a savy point .....just my opinion.

    projected rotation:
    Miller, Mooch, Brown
    Cuttino, Torres
    Butler, Rice
    MoT, K9, Collier
    Cato(please trade!), Griffin, Doleac

Taco Bell sounds good for lunch. I hear their 7-layer Nachos are pretty good.

    No doubt.

I would not consider a player who scores 12 point per game as a scorer.

Funny, I don't remember him scoring a single point in the NBA.

Do I really need to point out the key word in this statement?

If Steve left the Rockets would be lucky to score 75 points per game.

Heh, the only team I'd be happy with a trade of Francis and Morris would be is the Wizards. :) MJ would do a whole lot of both of those player's games.

If I had a say, for the RIGHT PACKAGE, I'd trade anyone, any combination, to any team.

No need to be bashful with a 28 win team that has terrible contracts and cap problems.

If the Lakers wanted to trade Kobe or Shaq, Orlando wanted to trade 'Grady or San Antonio wanted to sign and trade with Duncan. Thats the only people in the league I would trade Steve for. I also hate that out of the 4, two are on the same team.

I love Francis but I don't think he is the top ten best players in the league right now. Players I would trade him for.

    Duncan
    Nowitski
    Shaq
    Kobe
    Iverson
    T-mac
    Garnett
    Wallace ???
    Kidd

Players that I think are better but would not trade for because of age and/or the fact they play for the Jazz.

    Flopton ??
    Payton
    Karla Malone
    Michael Finley

Some of you might question Stockton or Finley. I argue that we would win more games with any of the players listed than we would with Francis.

I would do this trade right now:

    Odom
    Kandi
    Both of their first picks

    for

    Cato
    Steve Francis
    #14

    This is what we'd do:

    Kandi
    Griff/MoT
    Odom
    Mobley
Jason Williams (after trading 2 or 3 picks)

We'd have a pick to bolster the bench. We'd still have T-Mo, Mooch and Mo T or Griff on the bench too.

Actually. I wouldn't do that. Right now, I want Odom, and only Odom. Willing to trade anything outside of Cato(unless Kandi is included), Griffin, Mobley and Francis.

I think we need to trade the ENTIRE fuc#ing Rocket team for the Yakima Sun Kings!!!!

Now that would truly be a great trade!!
