yes, and that's a huge reason to get him. plus the fact he can stroke 3's as a pf while still playing defense (if not blocking shots). if the blazers make us give them rice (for the contract) then i want mcinnis and they take moochie to free up even more room. of course, if portland really wants to free up payroll, why would they get rid of a massive expiring contract for a lesser one and give up another one in mcinnis? maybe just a slight payroll shave with the added talent of a griffin/mobes or griff/cato is the perfect combo for them. i don't know what they want really. now if they would give us sheed w/o getting rice, and we got to let rice and sheed's contract expire, we'd be well under the cap i believe (we should be around 57M, sheed and rice are about 26M, we'd be about 12M under at 31M, enough for a max contract i think). but in the parlance of the board, it's a pipe dream. and Kick Azz also pretended we were signing daniels and piat when we weren't so no use in believing him (although this was reported before Kick Azz so it has a chance of being true at least).
