Actually kind of refreshing to see some pro-cato posts.

They have no backing to them, but at least puts something like hope in our hearts.

Okay, you Cato troll, I'll go ahead and bite...how in the hell can we be best friends when your son is the biggest, laziest f***er that is making $6 million dollars a year of all time? Hell, I know that he's supporting your sorry, no-job a** plus he's your child, but even if you let me share some of his earnings, I doubt that we would be friends. Now, go ahead and respond with something inane, idiotic, and moronic like all trolls do.

Damn, is K-Mart having a "Blue Light Special" on Cato fans this week? I've never seen so many cato-ites pop up all at once.

Cato reminds me of something that Coach Jeff Fisher said about a player once: (Defensive lineman) "Henry Ford has a Cadillac body with a Volkswagon engine."

Cato has the ability, but none of the heart.

Since we are planning to send Mo a 'Get Well' card, maybe we could conger up a 'Try Harder' card for Kelvin. I'm sure we could even get some of the front office guys (Les & CD) to sign off on this one.

One of my fears regarding Cato is that he has been so injury riddled that he will now play complacently, not wanting to hurt himself again. (Yeah, I know. I set that one up...if he played any more complacently, he'd be asleep).

I gotta say, Manny, if I could get a cut of $6 mil a year, I could be Cato's Mom's best friend!.....But it would have to be a sizable cut!

BTW Manny, what's up with people calling you out in their sigs? One is your best friend, and another is imitating you. I could have told you this would happen when you forsake all of your life to be here on this board. Put down the keyboard and slowly back away. :)

Let's rephrase the quote--Nobody as lazy as Cato who earns $42 M over 7 years or 6 years..whatever...can we say CONTRACT DRIVE?

Alas, Behad, I don't have a f***ing clue about this except that these people are jealous of me and only wish that they could be like me. I guess there are disadvantages of having no life and being here all the time.

    Dear Ms. Cato,

First of all.. All I have to say is:

In no way shape or form am I saying I do not support our "center of the future". However, what I do not condone is Kelvin sitting on his happy ass while he should have been rehabbing that "high ankle sprain" last year. I'll be generous and say that he missed close to a 1/3 of the season last year as a result. Should it have taken that long? Maybe so. But how many other athletes do you hear about missing such a significant amount of playing time and not feeling totally sick about it? In fact the only positive sign I've heard was a "We're going to see a new Kelvin Cato this year.... blah blah blah..." And here it comes again. I hope I don't have to get my boots. And in Maurice Taylor's defense (A defense from the other KC sympathizer) I've never heard so much praise for a Rocket player for his hard work in the offseason. The most I heard last year was Kelvin was taking his shirt off more in the locker room as a result of working out. A sophomore campaign of averaging (rounding up too!) 5 points and 5 rebounds is not exactly what I call worthy of optimism. Let's face the music, he cannot motivate himself. Our coaching staff requires MEN to come to practice everyday with the common goal of becoming better players. Guys should feel sick when they miss a game (I know I did). I spoke to Rocket player recently and asked him what was his problem. At first, he didn't say anything, preferred to elaborate on his injury. He was in total support of him, however, he did say that he is very hard to motivate.

I'm all for sticking up for loved ones. But I love my Rockets (Kelvin too) It just pains me to see someone with his athletic prowess and talent, just blatantly disregard his gifts. Any person on this chatboard would do some rather awful acts just to put on a uniform and sit on the bench with the Rockets, but to make 6 million too? Are we wrong for being a little upset on our return? We're not all stupid you know. We know who works hard and who doesn't. Winners don't make excuses.

I'm sorry, but have you ever had one of these sprains? Cause I can tell you I have and I still haven't fully recovered 6 MONTHS later. I still have the pain in my ankle everytime I try to jump and even walk sometimes so I don't know what your point is. I guess I'm just soft.

    KELVIN CATO'S MOM:

YOUR SON HAS COME A LONG WAY IN BECOMING AN NBA CENTER. HE CAN "MAKE A SHOT" AND "GET A REBOUND". BUT NO MATTER HOW HARD HE TRIES HE WILL NEVER BE AS GOOD AS ME BECAUSE I'M THE BEST DAMN CENTER OF ALL-TIME!! I'M ALSO THE BEST DAMN SPORTS ANNOUNCER/COMMENTATOR OF ALL TIME!! ALL YOUR SON HAS IN COMMON RIGHT NOW WITH ME IS THAT HE'S STAYS INJURED AS MUCH AS ME OR MORE. MAYBE HE SHOULD LOOK INTO THE FIELD OF SPORTS COMMENTATING WITH ME AS HIS ROLE MODEL.

KELVIN CATO: WHAT A CLUTCH PLAYER!!!!

LOL If you say you are soft, you are soft Miggidy. Maybe it took you alot longer to get fully-recovered. Then again, you aren't on the Houston Rockets. You aren't making 6 million a year. And Noone on the Rockets told me about your lackadaisacal rehabbing efforts either. I pity your "ankle sprain", but then again, I don't see the relevence either. Do we honestly have to list all the advantages a professional basketball player has over the majority of the world with health care? haha If you want to stick up for Kelvin's laziness, so be it. Don't expect me to be cool with it.

All I'm saying is for Kelvin to get off his lazy ass and start producing. Is that too much to ask? Two years with zero effort is just not going to cut it.

haha, don't worry guys, it's an inside joke

ps. why is it when someone makes a comment supporting kel he/she is assumed as a troll. I would think rockets fans would join me in their support of a rockets player
