And 6 people yelled out "ROCKETS!"

The stadium plays "DEFENSE!" Ten people respond.

No energy...I mean is the food that good? When the Rockets took the lead into the 4th quarter, it was like nobody was willing to do some yelling!! What is the problem? No wonder teams hand it to us. Its like they are playing a pick up game in their own gym. So sad.

The offense sucked. The coach was horrible. Blah blah. This and that. Excuses. Now, we are in the playoffs and I can't tell the difference between regular season arena intensity or playoff arena intensity. Maybe I need to unmute the TV??

Not even a sell out!! I see tons of empty seats.

"...and the Toyota Center best be rockin"? Clutch, we can only dream.

There is more noise in this place than on any night at the Toy Center.

I haven't posted anything on this board since arguing with crappy people in kentucky trying to steal the rockets...but i was getting on the forum today just to mention how crappy the crowd sounded too...i totally agree with you...and i miss the days of clutch city when i was in middle school and everyone used to yell and scream and go crazy everytime hakeem made a shot...where did all of the crazy fans go? are the accoustics messed up in toyota center?

The lower levels are like a friggin counrty club - everyone sitting down and clapping once in a while, with the exception of maybe one or two true fans. It's like they're watching cricket or tennis or something.

They weren't the reason for the 20-0 run obviously, but stuff like that just reflects poorly on Rockets fans and even the city in general. Pathetic.

i'm too dissapppointed in our crowd noise to say anything.. was it the tv sound? but tnt showed games 1 & 2 at the mav's arena and it was rowdy and noisy!

i guess cause i had such high hopes that our crowd would come out and support this team --- way to represent houston.

    - houstonian stuck in ny

and it was also pretty pathetic when t-mac was at the line and you hear about 3 air horns and about a hundred, or at least it sounded like it, people yelling.

    Yep.

We had this game. But I think it was the players' attitudes. They got complacent 2 times when we were up by 10..and they came back. Screwed us.

And wtf.. are you supposed to have screwed up chants of MVP when Tmac is shooting free throws? Maybe it makes him more confident but I would be distracted a bit..

It's funny to see everyone just sitting there. It was just like a normal home game with some excitement..nothing compared to AAC.

I still think no one goes crazy and cheers because no one else is doing it so you don't either.

It was good in the beginning when people were chanting DAMPIER SUCKS.

It's just sad. You see the camera pan through the crowd after they come from a timeout, and you see some old ladies sitting on their ass and an old man and two kids putting up the "#1" sign instead of yelling their ass off.

Those late Mavs free throws must've felt like they were on the practice court...usually during those the stadium sounds like it's about to explode.

Not to blame the loss on this...but it certainly doesn't hurt to get behind the team a little more.

I blame the home crowd 100% for this loss.

charles said it best, we didn't have the fire or energy tonight that we had when we were in dallas.

maybe because the dallas crowd can actually pump someone up?

It did sem pretty unimpressive. The Mavs games seemed to have more people on their feet at least.

IMO - Rocks need to make those lower seats reg. season only for business customers.

Yep, the crowd gave up that 20-0 run.

Come on.....the crowd responds when the team plays with passion, tonight they played passively, plus all the damned fouls and whistles killed any momentum the Rockets could have gotten.
