Yup, that's why you've seen such a HUGE slump in conservative radio talk show ratings.

It's the 5-1 ratio here. Much like when you listen to a talk radio show and you get a roughly 5-1 caller margin there. People like to go typically to places where most people agree with them.

Or do you also frequently post on Jazzfans.net?

I don't understand the question. He posts therefore we must "debate"?

Why does he post here? Because he gets some kind of pleasure by doing so would be my guess. I would further guess that most of that pleasure is from having people get upset with him, getting attention, and from making himself laugh. I can't answer for certain, though, because I am not him.

    oh, sure you're not..."wink, wink."

i noticed you posted the phrase, "gets some kind of pleasure." a phrase that TJ posts quite consistently. hmmmm....

i'll be expecting your repentant efforts at the tip jar soon, friend.

Your arguments are based solely on emotion. In the same post you accuse one side of slander while slandering them all at once.

If you honestly think that only your side can have right answers and that only the other side engages in deflection or slanders, you're greatly mistaken. What amazes me about people like you is that you feel you have a monopoly on the truth and that there is no room for interpretation of any fact that may be contrary to your beliefs.

I think the vote is closer than what you would expect because the poll choice wording and the wording of the thread are misleading.

Case 1: Who owned who? (in thread title)

Case 2: Who got owned ( in poll question)

If you go just by thread title you would have voted incorrectly, as I did.

There is not a 5 to 1 ratio in the D&D ~ unless you're talking about the proportion of dumbasses to the mentally able.

If you believe that people are voting by the thread title, as you did, that means The_Conquistador is winning!

This forum is covered with liberals like a Love's Country Store bathroom floor is covered with urine stains. For The_Conquistador to be winning in the poll is a testament to all of the liberals that believe that Batman got OWNED.

No emotion at all. I'm quite calm and relaxed. And I have slandered no one.

And I've never said I had all the right answers or a monopoly on the truth. I love learning new things and being exposed to new ideas. I just don't like being lied to.

Hey, I went out of my way to include the obligatory, "no offense intended." :p

I stand by my point. If we "shrug," and say, "What's the big deal? It's only the Constitution," where does that lead? Long after Joe McCarthy had been humiliated ("owned," for those who prefer the vernacular), writers, artists, actors, government employees, and a host of other victims still suffered from the tyranny of that little man. The damage went on for years, with blacklisting being the most obvious example.

Long after George W. Bush has hit the conservative lecture circuit, and gets to spend even more months on his "ranch," the country will be suffering from the acts he's committed as President. That is truth, whether it's pleasant to contemplate or not. He has been the most polarizing President of my lifetime, and I've seen several.

    And he's not finished.

I honestly don't understand how anyone can tolerate John Mayer's music.
