I've been with Sprint since the days when PRIMECO and Houston Cellular was thier main competition and I couldnt be more happy with them... the only thing that ticks me off is the phone rebate crap, new customers get a "Instant rebate" when they signup for service, but old customers have to do a mail in rebate... other than that, I love them..

    I hate them.

After college, I got slammed by one of the big 3, so I decided they went on my boycott list. Then, I got slammed by a second one and they went on the boycott list. I was with the last one, and they changed my rates without telling me, so they went on the boycott list too. Then, I got slammed again by one of them. So, I've had to give up my boycott. But, I'm getting a measure of revenge now, because my current provider neglects to charge me for my calls to Switzerland.

    Sprint DOES SUCK

    Tmobile, or Cingular for me.

Tmobile first prefrence coz of better customer service, and one year contracts.

    All cell phone companies suck.

While we're on the issue of big companies sucking, Time Warner both sucks and blows.

Agree. Customer service is an unfortunate casualty in big business.

the only thing i hate about sprint is how cheap they are in giving new phones.

apparently since i have an old cheap plan i can't get any rebates on a new phone. and my phone is 2-3 years old! but their plan is great and everyone i call has sprint so i can't change.

so in the meantime i'll keep saying sprint sucks. though deep down inside i dont mind them that much.

What makes you happy or unhappy with cell phone services? I've been with sprint since August 99 and have never bothered to switch. I have a tendency to stick with what I like and not try new things, esp if I don't have major complaints.

What caused ya'll to switch? Cheaper deals? Cheaper phones? Better reception?

Left SWB for better price package. Left Cellular One for better reception/free within network/better priced package.

    I have Sprint.

Service for me is great except for 2 places...Home and work.

Of course, work pays the bill so they can get who they want.

I have had sprint since 97 since they first came to houston and have always been with them. have't had a real problem overall....i like my plan and i get a lot of services for free that other companies wouldn't give me right now...

I have always upgraded phones but that's thanks to people i know that work for the company over the years and they have a special deal.

Oh yeah just a little thing i learned if you want to get a new phone with a rebate do this...

Go buy the phone and put it under your name as a second line say your buying it for a girlfriend etc or whatever. Wait a couple days then call back and say i bought this phone for my girlfriend, we broke up or it was for my dad and he bought one without telling me so i want to cancel my plan.

You have 14 days to cancel the phone with no charge. After that you already got your instant rebates etc and you call back sprint and say i have a new phone i would like to activate under the account you have right now. Simple as that.
