Who else here has built their whole day around watching GAME CHANGE tonight?

Right, okay, then never say you love the juicy underside of politics as much as I do. I think we found your limit.

If you haven't, by the by, read the book. One of the best reads I've had the pleasure of devouring in the last few years.

Just watched the movie, of course you lefties will love it. It's a hit piece on Palin designs to take her down when she runs for president. The reason I know you lefties will get into a circle jerk when watching this movie is your fantasy about seeing Palin gets humiliated come through.

I expect nothing but garbage coming out of HBO and Hollywood and I was not dissapointed. What do you expect when the little pond scum douche Bill Maher is the one running that sorry network?

You want to know the truth about Sarah, watch The Undefeated tonight on Reelz and see for yourself. Then again, you lefties never wanted the truth so do what you've always done: be a lefty.

All those evil leftists with all their 'gotcha' questions...

Get over it, Palin just wasn't smart enough or prepared enough for the big stage. Republicans need to stop blaming Palin's shortcomings on others...

I predict that by 2016 Palin will be about as relevant as John Anderson to national politics. I suspect that Sarah Palin privately is thrilled with this movie because it just brings more attention to herself.

You did? Are you Steve Schmidt? Or do you have x-ray vision and super-hearing? Do you get to watch Rockets' practices and players' only meetings too? Listen in on Morey's phone calls? If so, could you give us some scoop?

It was arguably worth watching because Moore does a great job & woody was pretty decent.

But you're right in that there's not a whole lot new/surprising about it.

The few attempts to manufacture drama like some of the hokey scenes from election night fell totally flat ("I didn't even vote...!") and some horrible dialogue. THere was a fair amount of innaccuracy as well. Todd Palin was a virtual nonentity (apparently untrue) and it didn't show Palin was lobbying for the nod months beforehand.

i actually planned on watching it but i kept seeing reviews saying that was the story. i'm like i already knew that. i will watch it one day this week, maybe tonight.

its just hard to do a groundbreaking movie on reality based on a celebrity nowadays. with the 24 hour news cycle, we pretty much know everything already. its only worth watching as you note for the entertainment value.

The most interesting thing about this theead is the revelation (thanks to estaban) that some wingers still think that Palin will one day be a viable candidate for national office again. What events in her swan dive of a political career since McCain lost would possibly justify that?

The lefties don't need to do a Palin 'hit piece'. You can't murder something that is already dead. Palin has as much chance of being President as Jessie Jackson or Ron Paul.

You're too generous. Either of those guys would be president before Palin would be.

And they would both be better presidents, by far. Ron Paul, a fellow who literally wants to return the country to the gold standard, would be a better president than Sarah Palin. Just ponder that for a minute or two.
