With the moves NOOK has made drafting and trading for bigs I have heard nothing about David West, a pretty decent young 4.

After the MJ signing and with Speedy deClaxtonizing (and Cavs give-a-way of Damon Jones) is there a West - Alston deal possible (with various fillers etc etc)?

no way ... he's a good player and NO will not let him go, especially for a PG (they have chris paul ...) ... and i dont think they have too many options in the paint : they got 2 starters (chandler/west) and their backups (armstrong/simmons) ...

Why would the Hornets do that? West is young, cheap, and he's coming off a 17/7 year. I imagine he's still the starter over there.

And like Diaw said, it's not like they need a PG. They have Paul and Bobby Jackson.

They (reportedly) wanted to retain Speedy after BJ and were successful last year with Paul/Speedy playing together. Does Bobby Jax offer the same dynamic? I believe not.

West is a really good player, just because they got chandler and two rookies doesn't mean they got the rookies to strart. PLus they dont really need another PG in Rafer Alston when they have Chris Paul and Bobby Jax.
